The Three Archangels of Salvation
St. Michael the Archangel
This iconic image depicts St. Michael declaring “Who is like God?” while expelling Satan from Heaven, the very act that earned him the title of Saint and Prince of the Heavenly Host.
St. Gabriel the Archangel
This image depicts the nuptial union of the Holy Spirit and His spouse the Blessed Virgin Mary where St. Gabriel courageously proclaims “God’s Strength” to ever bind Himself to the human race in the bonds of marriage. Thus, earning him the title Saint and Protector of the Holy Family.
St. Raphael the Archangel
This image reveals St. Raphael in the Book of Tobit, who appears as a irrefutable sign that our God is the “God who Heals”, rushing to the aid of the virtuous man Tobit, his son Tobias, and a besieged woman Sarah. St. Raphael then proceeds to heal the blind Tobit, exorcise the demon from Sarah, and marry her to Tobit’s son Tobias. Thus, fulfilling in a microcosm what God fulfills in the macrocosm, the complete healing or restoration of mankind from the Flesh, the Devil and the World. Therefore, earning him the title Saint and embodies the very Secret of the King. (Tobit 12:11)
